Skopje, 23.03.2023 – “Mother Teresa” University in Skopje and University for Information Science and Technology “St. Paul the Apostle” signed today a Memorandum of Understanding to create and support bilateral cooperation between the two institutions.
In this meeting participated the Rector of MTU, lecturer Izet Zeqiri Ph.D., who was accompanied by Pro-Rectors of MTU, Bekim Fetaji Ph.D. and Fati Iseni Ph.D., as well as the Dean of the Faculty of Informatics, Stojan Kitanov Ph.D. The purpose of this memorandum is the development of academic and educational cooperation, the establishment of cooperation programs in various fields between the two universities and cooperation in various higher education activities of common interest.
The two institutions of higher education will cooperate in areas of common interest, as well as in topics oriented towards education and scientific research, the two institutions of higher education will promote direct contact and cooperation between academic staff, faculty departments, research institutions and students.
In the memorandum signed by the Rector of MTU, lecturer Izet Zeqiri Ph.D., and the Rector of the University “St. Paul the Apostle”, Ivan Bimbilovski Ph.D., includes cooperation in the exchange of academic staff, student exchange, joint educational and research activities through international projects, symposia, conferences and other scientific activities.
The two universities will create joint academic programs at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels, direct recognition of degrees, exchange of published academic materials and access to digital library databases.
Since its foundation, MTU has signed and cooperates with nearly 70 institutions of higher education from the country, the region and Europe.
