Skopje, October 8, 2025 – At the premises of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Mother Teresa University in Skopje, represented by its Rector, Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., and Avant Car mobile services company, represented by CEO Martin Milevski.

The memorandum, signed as part of the Avant2Go electric vehicle sharing project, envisions the development of inter-institutional cooperation aimed at promoting green mobility and sustainable solutions for urban transport in the city of Skopje. Through this cooperation, the parties commit to providing electric vehicles for use by the students and the academic staff of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, with the goal of facilitating transportation, reducing pollution, and improving the quality of life in the university environment and the urban area.

At the meeting, the Rector of MTU, Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., was accompanied by the three Vice-Rectors: Assoc. Prof. Fati Iseni, Ph.D., Assoc. Prof. Diturije Ismaili, Ph.D., and Full Prof. Zoran Gacovski, Ph.D., as well as Mr. Alajdin Memedi and Mr. Driton Zendeli. During the meeting, MTU Rector, Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., emphasized that the Memorandum represents a concrete step toward building a more environmentally friendly, innovative university focused on sustainable development by integrating modern technologies for the benefit of the students and the advancement of university education. CEO Milevski, accompanied by Mr. Darko Stefanovski, assessed the cooperation with Mother Teresa University in Skopje as a great example of combining the academic sector with private initiatives for sustainable mobility and environmental protection.

The memorandum has been signed for a period of six years, with the possibility of extension, and includes the installation of Avant2Go electric vehicle charging stations on university premises, as well as the free use of a number of parking spaces for the electric vehicle fleet.
