Skopje, 25 December 2025 – In a ceremonial and academic atmosphere, Mother Teresa University in Skopje, specifically the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture, organized a launching of two books by Assoc. Prof. Isak Idrizi, Ph.D., titled “Mekanika Inxhinierike – Statika” (“Engineering Mechanics – Statics”) and “Mekanika Inxhinierike – Dinamika” (“Engineering Mechanics – Dynamics”).
The event, which brought together the university leadership, academic and administrative staff, students, friends, and book enthusiasts, was moderated by Assit. Prof. Genta Spahiu Mirzo, M.A. In her opening remarks, she emphasized the importance of such events as guiding milestones for new generations of engineers.
In his address, the Rector of MTU, Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., highly praised the author’s scientific work. He emphasized that the two publications represent not only an individual success for the author, but also a significant achievement for the University itself. MTU Rector, Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., noted that enriching technical literature through such works enhances the institution’s scientific reputation and provides students with modern learning tools.
On behalf of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture, the Dean, Full Prof. Zekirja Idrizi, Ph.D., also delivered a speech. Addressing the audience, he noted that the books arise from a long-standing need for high-quality academic literature in the field of mechanics. Dean Idrizi emphasized that these works, developed according to a professional methodology, are to serve as foundational pillars upon which students and young researchers are to build their theoretical and practical knowledge, significantly facilitating their educational process.
The author of the books, Assoc. Prof. Isak Idrizi, Ph.D., explained the long journey toward the completion of these volumes. He pointed out that the works are the result of many years of scientific research and strong dedication, particularly in the precise translation and adaptation of technical terminology into the Albanian language. The author expressed his gratitude to MTU for the support, emphasizing that his primary goal remains to ease the learning process for students through a clear and thoroughly developed theoretical approach.
The launching of the books titled “Mekanika Inxhinierike – Statika” (“Engineering Mechanics – Statics”) and “Mekanika Inxhinierike – Dinamika” (“Engineering Mechanics – Dynamics”) represents an important step in consolidating engineering literature in the country, becoming a valuable source of information for the entire academic community and professionals in this field.
