Lectures within the joint master program between MTU and UNISS – Migration Management
Sassari / Sardinia, December 4, 2021 Within # Erasmus + project, as part of the Teaching Staff Mobility program, the rector of “Mother Teresa” University in Skopje, lecturer Aziz Pollozhani, Ph.D., was on a business visit in exchange for experiences for academic staff and students at the University of Sassari in Sardinia, Italy, from December 1, 2021, to December 5, 2021.
During the visit, lecturer Aziz Pollozhani, Ph.D. was welcomed by the Rector of the University of Sassari, and they both discussed the development of the study process of both universities’ students because “Mother Teresa” University students and students of the University of Sassari now share the same study program for the master studies. Furthermore, the purpose of the meeting is to deepen the cooperation between the universities and in other scientific fields, too.
During the business visit, Rector Pollozhani gave a lecture to the students of the University of Sassari on topics of migration in the European Union, real communication – improving cultural barriers to better health services for migrants, and the migration crisis – examples from North Macedonia.
MTU has cooperation agreements with the University of Sassari, founded in 1558 by Alessio Fontana, a prominent citizen of the city of Sassari. Today, the university, with over 12,000 students and about 700 researchers, consists of 11 departments, which also collaborate with many academic and research centers and institutes.
