Skopje, May 9, 2025 – Within the program of the academic and cultural activities, the Faculty of Law at Mother Teresa University in Skopje, on this day, celebrated Europe Day via a promotional event dedicated to the book by the author, Assoc. Prof. Enver Abdullahi, Ph.D., entitled “Politika e Jashtme e Bashkimit Evropian ndaj Republikës së Maqedonisë së Veriut” (“The Foreign Policy of the European Union towards the Republic of North Macedonia”).

The book represents an important contribution to international relations and European integration concerning the analytical and scientific review of the EU’s approach to our country, as well as the challenges and perspectives of the accession process.

The reviewers, Assoc. Prof. Avni Avdiu, Ph.D., and Assoc. Prof. Agron Kurtishi, Ph.D., highly evaluated the author’s research work, as well as the theoretical depth and practical analysis of the book. They emphasized that the book serves as a valuable resource for students, researchers, and experts in diplomacy and political science, clearly reflecting the dynamics of the EU’s foreign policies and their impact on the region.

The event was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Aleksandar Petkovski, Ph.D., who, through a professional approach, made the event rich with constructive discussions on the topic in question.

Assoc. Prof. Enver Abdullahi, Ph.D., in his speech, expressed his gratitude to the university, the reviewers, and all present, sharing with them the motivation and challenges in the preparation of the book.

He stressed the importance of a proper understanding of European foreign policy for creating a more effective and sustainable national strategy towards integration.

The book launch event ended with a discussion where students and guests had the opportunity to ask questions and exchange ideas on the topic discussed.
