Skopje, May 2025 – The Rector of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Lecturer Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., together with the Vice-Rectors, Assoc. Prof. Fati Iseni, Ph.D., and Assoc. Prof. Diturije Ismaili, Ph.D., welcomed representatives of the US Embassy within the framework of the promotion of the student exchange and mobility programs.

The meeting was moderated by Nasim Salih, a Fulbright representative, and focused on the opportunities offered by the Global UGRAD program. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the US Embassy, Mr. Gazmend Ilazi and Ms. Eva Kitanovikj, as well as the former UGRAD participants, Avni Idrizi, Erik Srebrov, and Jusuf Xheladini.

Students were informed about the application deadlines, from November 2 to December 28, 2025; the selection criteria; the importance of preparing essays; and documentation. Participants shared their personal experiences and offered practical advice and motivation for future candidates.

The students showed great interest in the meeting and motivation to take advantage of the opportunities and experiences for international study.
