Skopje, May 20, 2025 – The Faculty of Informatics at Mother Teresa University in Skopje organized a public lecture with the renowned international lecturer, Ass. Prof. Suplab Podder, Ph.D., who gave a presentation on the topic “Strategies for Startups in the Balkan Region”.

The activity was developed within the framework of initiatives to strengthen the connection between higher education and the development of innovations in the region, providing students and academic staff with direct knowledge from experts in the field of technology and entrepreneurship.

The lecture was welcomed by the Rector of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Lecturer Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., who in his speech thanked Ass. Prof. Suplab Podder, Ph.D., for sharing his considerable experience with students and university staff. He emphasized the importance of internationalization and knowledge exchange for the professional development of students and the strengthening of academic institutions in the region.

As a token of gratitude, MTU Rector, Lecturer Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., awarded a certificate to Ass. Prof. Suplab Podder, Ph.D., for his contribution to the advancement of knowledge and the promotion of the entrepreneurial spirit among the youth in North Macedonia.

The event was organized by the Dean of the Faculty of Informatics, Assoc. Prof. Majlinda Axhiu, Ph.D., who thanked the attendees and emphasized the importance of continuing such collaborations that strongly contribute to the professional training of the students and the expansion of international academic cooperation.
