Skopje, May 21, 2025 – On this day, at the premises of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, MTU Rector, Lecturer Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., welcomed Lecturer Joost van Hoof, Ph.D., from The Hague University of Applied Sciences (THU) in the Netherlands, to a working meeting.

During the meeting, MTU Rector, Lecturer Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., accompanied by the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Assoc. Prof. Diturije Ismaili, Ph.D., and Lecturer Daniel Pavlovski, Ph.D., informed the Dutch guest in detail about the academic developments of MTU, its scientific projects, and current and future collaborations with international educational and research institutions.

After the official meeting, activities continued within the two-day workshop of the international scientific project “The Balkan Network Connected to Suitable Environments for the Third Age (ABC Network)”, where MTU, with its Faculty of Social Sciences, is a regional partner for the Balkan countries.

The project aims to contribute to the development of age-friendly cities and communities in the region, with a focus on scientific research, exchange of experiences, and promotion of efficient policies for active and healthy aging.
