Skopje, October 28, 2025 – Today, in the Senate Hall of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Rector Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., held a working meeting with the principals of secondary schools from various cities across the country, as part of the initiative “Morning Coffee with the Rector.”

The meeting aimed to assess the ongoing collaboration between secondary and higher education and to strengthen partnerships for the preparation of new professional staff.

Rector Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., accompanied by Vice-Rectors Assoc. Prof. Fati Iseni, Ph.D.; Assoc. Prof. Diturije Ismaili, Ph.D.; and Mr. Alajdin Memedi, emphasized that thanks to the fruitful cooperation with secondary schools, MTU has, for the first time, surpassed the number of 1,000 newly enrolled students, reaching 1,044 students for the 2025/2026 academic year.

According to him, this represents an important indicator of the trust that high school graduates place in MTU and of the stable connection between the two levels of education.

As a token of gratitude for their contribution in guiding the young toward university studies and preparing future generations of professionals, Rector Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., presented certificates of appreciation to the attending principals.

He highlighted the importance of mutual cooperation among educational institutions as a key link in building a high-quality and sustainable education system that meets the needs of the labor market and social development.

At the end of the meeting, the Rector of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., expressed the Mother Teresa University’s readiness to deepen its partnership with secondary schools through joint educational and professional projects, inviting school principals to actively participate in the HORIZON program, which recently began implementation within MTU.
