Skopje, November 2025 – In the premises of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, the Rector of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., together with the President of the MTU Union, Full Prof. Avni Avdiu, Ph.D., held a working meeting with the President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, Mr. Afrim Gashi.

The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen inter-institutional cooperation between the Assembly and the University, with a special focus on enhancing the quality of higher education and promoting sustainable reforms that are to contribute to the educational and social development of the country.

During the meeting, ideas and concrete proposals were exchanged on improving working conditions for academic staff and creating better opportunities for students, while emphasizing the importance of continuous dialogue between state and academic institutions.

MTU Rector, Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., thanked the President of the Assembly, Mr. Gashi, for his willingness to cooperate and highly appreciated the support of state institutions for the public higher education system.

MTU remains committed to developing strategic partnerships with national and international institutions, with the aim of improving the quality of education, advancing scientific research, and preparing professional staff for the modern labor market.
