Skopje, November 10, 2025 – The Rector of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., held a working meeting with the Permanent Coordinator of the United Nations (UN) in North Macedonia, Ms. Rita Columbia.
During the meeting, Rector Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., accompanied by the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Assoc. Prof. Diturije Ismaili, Ph.D., and MTU Secretary General, Pishtar Luftiu, M.A., informed Ms. Rita Columbia about the mission, academic programs, and development projects of MTU, as well as the institution’s efforts to integrate the sustainable development goals into teaching, research, and international cooperation.
Both parties expressed readiness to strengthen cooperation between Mother Teresa University in Skopje and the United Nations Office in North Macedonia, aiming to develop joint activities in the areas of quality education, innovation, gender equality, and sustainable social and economic development.
Ms. Rita Columbia praised the University for its commitment to incorporating sustainability principles into the education system and emphasized the importance of partnerships between academic institutions and international organizations.
