Ohrid, September 2023 – The rector of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Lecturer Izet Zeqiri, Ph.D., held an educational and scientific lecture at the Ohrid summer school organized by the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts.

At the lecture, Rector Zeqiri delivered a speech on the topic of “Corruption In Public Procurement and Measures of Its Prevention In the Republic of North Macedonia”. Among other, he emphasized that corruption in this field can cause big financial losses for the state and unfair benefits for individuals and companies. In terms of how to prevent and how to fight corruption in public procurement, a continuous and joint commitment from public authorities, civil society, and citizens is necessary.
