Skopje, November 9, 2023 – The rector of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Lecturer Izet Zeqiri, Ph.D., welcomed the Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo in Skopje, H.E. Florian Qehaja, to a working meeting.
The working meeting was also attended by the vice-rector for education, Assoc. Prof. Fati Iseni, Ph.D. Rector Zeqiri informed Ambassador Qehaja about the increased number of enrolled students with the opening of new study programs, and thanked him for his contribution to the successfull cooperation among the universities of the two neighboring countries, as well as the fruitfull cooperation with the scientific and cultural institutions.
Both sides agreed to promotion and fruitful cooperation, as well to excellent relations with many universities in the Republic of Kosovo, and that in the near future the most prominent inter-Albanian Erasmus for raising the quality is to be created.
The Ambassador, H.E. Florian Qehaja, thanked MTU rector, Lecturer Izet Zeqiri, Ph.D., for his readiness and willingness to work for the establishment and promotion of the country’s higher education , indicating full institutional support. After the working meeting, there was a round table discussion organized between the MTU and the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in RNM, on the topic “Bilateral Cooperation Between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of North Macedonia”.
