Lecturer Debabrata Samanta, PH.D. is a professor and head of the program at the Department of Computing and Information Technologies currently teaching at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in Kosovo.

Lecturer Samantha delivered a lecture to the Faculty of Informatics students entitled “Virtual Reality – 2D to 3D Conversion Image Processing”. The lecturer was welcomed by the vice-chancellor for science, Lecturer Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., and the acting dean of the Faculty of Informatics, Ass. Prof. Majlinda Axhiu, Ph.D., as well as the other lecturers of the Faculty.

After the lecture, the possibilities of cooperation with the head of the program were discussed and an agreement was reached for the students and some of the professors to visit RIT, on March 25–26, 2024) within the framework of the 5.
