Skopje, February 17, 2025 – On this day, in an academic environment among students, lecturers, and guests from the country and abroad, organized by the Department of Political Studies and International Relations at Mother Teresa University in Skopje, the book by the author, Assoc. Prof. Murat Aliu, Ph.D., was launched, titled “Power, Identity, and Space: A Sociological and Political Scientific Study, Part of the Skopje 2014 Project”.

At the book launch, the work of Assoc. Prof. Murat Aliu, Ph.D., which has particular significance in the field of political and sociological studies, was presented extensively. Lecturer Enis Sulstarova, Ph.D., and Lecturer Ali Pajaziti, Ph.D., presented the book and its value under the moderation of Lecturer Enver Abdullahu, Ph.D.

The book’s reviewers expressed gratitude for the courage and dedication of the author Murat Aliu, expressing their admiration for the detailed research of the scientific publication in question, which they valued as historical within the framework of the political hysteria.

In “Power, Identity, and Space: A Sociological and Political Scientific Study, part of the Skopje 2014 Project”, the author emphasized that the modern state bears the difficult task of achieving homogenization under the idea of national identity. He also defined national identity as the union under one roof of culture and politics.

Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss this important work with the participants, reflecting on the topics raised by the author.
