Mar, 13. 2025- In the eight units of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Lecturer Bekim Fetaji, Ph. D., full professor at The faculty of Informatics at MTU was elected Rector, based on the preliminary results accumulated from the secret ballot for the election of the third rector.
According to the electoral role of The facilities, there were registered in total 76 voters. 74 voters used their vote, from which 73 votes were valid and 1 invalid, whereas 2 voters did not use their right to vote. The mandate of the elected rector lasts 3 years, starting from 26.04.2025.
Lecturer Bekim Fetaji, Ph. D., has a Doctorate in Computer Sciences at the Faculty of Computer Science at Graz University of Technology. He also received his Master’s Degree at Oxford Brookes University, England. He was engaged as a Visiting Professor at Staffordshire University in the United Kingdom, the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Engineering, Japan, at Öresbro University in Sweden, at the Polytechnic University in Tirana, the University of Novi Pazar and other universities. Since the establishment of Mother Teresa University, Lecturer Bekim Fetaji, Ph. D., has served as a professor, where he has also been the Dean of The faculty of Informatics and recently has been the Vice-Rector for Science and Research.
