Skopje , May 7, 2025 – The traditional Open Day activity was held on the campus of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, where hundreds of high school graduates from various cities in the Republic of North Macedonia were welcomed.
From the early morning hours, the graduates were warmly welcomed by the university’s academic and administrative staff and provided with detailed information about the study programs, study conditions, the benefits of international mobility (Erasmus+ and CEEPUS), and the professional orientation offered by MTU in accordance with the demands of the labor market.
The Rector of MTU, Lecturer Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., in his welcoming speech, emphasized the importance of choosing the right academic path and stated that MTU is but an open door for the young people who want to build a sustainable future through quality, multidisciplinary, and international education.
“At Mother Teresa University in Skopje, you are not only choosing a field of study, but you are joining a community that strives for knowledge, experience, and professional success. We believe in the potential of the young and are here to support you in every step of your academic journey,” stated the Rector of MTU, Lecturer Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D.
At the Open Day, each faculty organized its own information point, where deans and professors presented the faculties’ study programs, the opportunities for involvement in scientific research, and practical projects developed during studies.
The graduates had the opportunity to discuss with current MTU students, led by the University’s Student Assembly, who shared their personal experiences and provided useful advice about student life at MTU.
The festive atmosphere was complemented by interactive activities, promotional materials, and a tour of the university campus, including the lecture halls, the laboratories, and the modern library.
Mother Teresa University in Skopje thanks the school principals and the graduates for their active participation and wishes them success in their preparations for university, inviting them to become part of our academic family in the upcoming academic year.
