Skopje, August 2025 – The Rector of the Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Lecturer Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., participated in the Interuniversity Conference held at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje.

The conference was attended by the Rector of Mother Teresa University, Lecturer Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D.; the Rector of the South East European University, Acad. Lecturer Abdylmenaf Bexheti, Ph.D.; the Rector of the University of Tetova, Lecturer Jusuf Zejneli, Ph.D.; and other academic representatives, among which members of the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts.

The rectors unanimously stated that higher education represents and is to remain the foundation upon which the development of society is built. They emphasized that universities should be centers of knowledge, scientific research, and innovation, closely connected to the needs of the labor market and the challenges of modern times.

As part of the conference, a call for applications was announced for the selection of members of the National Council for Higher Education and Scientific Research Activity.
