On March 24 and 25, at Mother Teresa University in Skopje, the External Evaluation Commission for Quality Assessment of the Faculty of Humanities paid a working visit. The commission consisted of Prof. Srdjan Mikjikj, Ph.D., Prof. Silvia Florea, Ph.D., and Prof. Mariam Kilanava, Ph.D.
The group of international experts was first welcomed by the Rector of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., accompanied by the university’s management team: Vice-Rectors Assoc. Prof. Sani Demiri, Ph.D.; Assoc. Prof. Diturije Ismaili, Ph.D.; Assoc. Prof. Bujamin Bela, Ph.D.; Assoc. Prof. Fati Iseni, Ph.D.; Assoc. Prof. Zoran Trifunov, Ph.D.; Pishtar Lutfiu, Ph.D.; Elena Prendjova, M.A.; and the Secretary General Rahim Jashari, Ph.D.
During the two-day visit at the MTU premises, the External Evaluation Commission for Quality Assessment carried out an intensive agenda of meetings with the management and the academic staff. Initially, they met with the Dean of the Faculty of Human Sciences, Full Prof. Mustafa Ibrahimi, Ph.D.; and the Vice-Dean Assoc. Prof. Arta Tika Bekteshi, Ph.D.
Targeted focus was placed on the curricula and their implementation methods, educational objectives and learning outcomes, review of exams, thesis topics and project papers, discussions with academic, administrative, and technical staff, interviews with current and graduated students, and cooperation with industry partners and the relevant sector for graduate employment.
Part of the agenda also included visits to the library, student services, laboratories, the career center, and other technical facilities of MTU.
The purpose of the visit was to evaluate the administrative and academic standards, research capacities, and infrastructure of the Faculty of Human Sciences.
