Skopje, 14 September 2026 – Mother Teresa University in Skopje today took an important step toward expanding inter-university cooperation by signing a Memorandum of Cooperation with the European University in Skopje. The agreement was signed during an official meeting by the Rector of MTU, Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., and the Rector of the European University, Full Prof. Biljana Angleska-Bogdanovska, Ph.D.
The Memorandum aims to develop academic relations and deepen scientific and research cooperation between the two institutions, including in areas of mutual interest. These areas include the joint development of study programs, as well as Joint Degree and Double Degree programmes; the joint organisation of scientific projects, symposiums, conferences, and workshops; the exchange of academic staff (teaching and research associates) and students at all cycles of study; as well as cooperation in the field of joint promotion.
During the meeting, MTU Rector Fetaji was accompanied by Vice-Rector Full Prof. Fati Iseni, Ph.D., Secretary General Rahim Jashari, Ph.D., and Prof. Miki Runtev.
The agreement signed today underscores the commitment of both universities to integrating their expertise and capacities, opening up new perspectives and opportunities for students and academic staff at both institutions.
