Skopje, October 31, 2025 – In the presence of academic and international representatives, the Rector of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., and the CEO of the European Group of Surveyors (EGoS), based in Rome, Italy, Mr. Nikolaos Zacharias, signed a Memorandum of Understanding, establishing the foundations for sustainable cooperation in the field of scientific research and the development of educational programs.

The purpose of the memorandum is to strengthen inter-institutional collaboration through the development of joint educational and research programs, the exchange of professional experience, and the promotion of projects that contribute to the advancement of geodetic and cartographic sciences at the European level.

The parties agreed that future activities are to be defined in detail through additional cooperation memoranda, which are to specify the particular areas of engagement, in accordance with the time frames and financial resources of both institutions.

This very act represents an important step toward reinforcing European scientific cooperation and provides a new opportunity for the development of professional expertise in the fields of geodesy and cartography.
