Skopje, March 2026 – Students from Mother Teresa University in Skopje took part in the official event marking International Women’s Day, held at the Aula of the Rectorate of Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje.

The event was organized by the Social Policy, Demographics, and Youth; Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje; and the United Nations in the Republic of North Macedonia, under the global theme: “Rights. Justice. Commitment for All Women and Girls.”

The participation of Mother Teresa University students aimed to promote constructive dialogue with the younger generation on the importance of women’s leadership in society, as well as to inspire girls and young women to pursue their dreams and academic and professional ambitions.

During the event, the “Mentorship for Leadership” initiative was also presented. Implemented in cooperation with a local organization, this initiative aims to provide support and develop leadership skills among girls and young women.
