Skopje, June 2026 – The Rector of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph. D., hosted an official meeting with Ms. Daniela Dimovska, Director of the Agency for Innovation, Scientific and Technological Development and Entrepreneurship (INOVA). 

During the meeting, MTU Rector Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph. D., accompanied by the University’s Vice-Rectors and members of the academic staff, briefed Director Dimovska on MTU’s innovative development initiatives, research infrastructure, and the numerous opportunities that Mother Teresa University offers for the development of scientific research projects. 

The INOVA Agency is a state institution that, since 2025, has been responsible for supporting innovation, technological development, start-up businesses, entrepreneurship, and the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises. 

The discussions focused on key areas of cooperation, highlighting support for the financing of innovative projects and student and researcher start-up ideas, the promotion of digital and green transformation in academic and business processes, strengthening collaboration between the business sector and scientific research institutions, as well as providing training, mentoring, and further fostering an entrepreneurial culture among the young. 

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to formalizing this strategic partnership, which is to enable the scientific capacities of Mother Teresa University in Skopje to contribute more actively to innovation and technological development in the country.
