Skopje, 18 June 2026 – The Rector of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., accompanied by the Vice-Rectors Full Prof. Sani Demiri, Ph.D., and Assoc. Prof. Bujamin Bela, Ph.D., as well as former Rector Academician Prof. Izet Zeqiri, Ph.D., including other members of the academic and administrative staff, yesterday welcomed the Mayor of the Municipality of Chair, Mr. Izet Mexhiti, who, during his visit to our university, closely observed the progress of the works on the new MTU campus.
During the visit, the delegation was thoroughly informed about the construction dynamics, and it was noted with satisfaction that the works are progressing at a high and satisfactory pace, allowing this capital project to take on its final shape more and more each day.
The Mayor of the Municipality of Chair, Mr. Izet Mexhiti, expressed his satisfaction with the progress achieved on site, describing the project as an exceptionally important investment for higher education and for the future of the younger generations in the country and the region.
For his part, MTU Rector Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., thanked Mr. Mexhiti for his continuous institutional support, emphasizing that the new modern campus is to provide European-standard facilities for students and is to become an important center of knowledge, innovation, and academic development.
