NEW EUROPEAN SUCCESS FOR MOTHER TERESA UNIVERSITY IN SKOPJE

Mother Teresa University in Skopje has officially become a partner in the major European project Co4RES (Coordinated Control for Renewable Energy Systems), funded by the European Commission under the prestigious Horizon Europe programme.

The project is led by the Vice-Rector for Finance, Assoc. Prof. Bujamin Bela, Ph.D., and Artan Zejnullahi, Ph.D. This represents a strong demonstration of our university’s commitment to scientific research and innovation.

The project brings together an international alliance of 39 partners from 15 European countries, including leading universities such as Imperial College London, KU Leuven, and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), as well as renowned international companies and research centres.

Mother Teresa University’s role in the project is to directly contribute to the development of innovative renewable energy solutions through forecasting energy production and consumption, developing Digital Twin technology for transformer substations, and automating and testing power systems.

For Mother Teresa University in Skopje, the project represents an important opportunity to strengthen and further develop its research capacities, engage academic staff in international projects, facilitate the exchange of knowledge and advanced technologies, and create new academic opportunities for students and researchers.

The project represents another major step towards the internationalisation of Mother Teresa University and its positioning within the European Research Area.
