Skopje, June 27, 2020 – “Mother Teresa” University in Skopje is with another Doctor of Science. Namely, Arta Bekteshi, the assistant at the Faculty of Informatics at MTU, on June 25, 2020, successfully defended her doctoral dissertation online at the Faculty of Languages, Cultures, and Communication, Department of Linguistics (Syntax and Semantics), on the topic: “Syntactic Structures and Semantic Problems of Negation in English and Albanian – Contrastive Analysis” at the SEEU.

MTU expresses its honor and satisfaction that as an institution of higher education, the academic staff is promoted and acquires high academic titles, as a result of research and scientific commitment undertaken by the MTU professors.

Raising the professional credibility of the new academic staff is good news not only for us, but also for the students, and the whole society in general.

Professor Arta Bekteshi, by defending her doctoral dissertation, gained the scientific title of Doctor of Philological Sciences in the field of English language and literature.

This achievement was maximally evaluated by the professors of the respective committee, as well as by her theoretical and empirical research.
