Skopje, January 22, 2026 – Today, the Rector of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., held a working meeting with the Education Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Skopje, Mr. Ali Riza Altunel, during which new opportunities for academic and scientific-research cooperation were discussed.
The focus of the meeting was on strengthening bridges of cooperation, with the parties discussing increased student mobility, joint scientific and research projects, and the integration of scientific papers into prestigious international platforms.
Mr. Ali Riza Altunel expressed his full support for MTU’s vision, assessing MTU as an important center for the development of interdisciplinary science.
At the meeting, MTU Rector, Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., was accompanied by the team of vice-rectors: Assoc. Prof. Fati Iseni, Ph.D.; Assoc. Prof. Bujamin Bela, Ph.D.; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diturije Ismaili, Ph.D.
The meeting represents another significant step toward the internationalization of MTU through the strengthening of strategic partnerships that enhance the academic quality and international reputation of the institution.
