Skopje, May 9, 2025 – In the premises of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, organized by the Faculty of Humanities, a launch of the latest book by Lecturer Naim Kryeziu, Ph.D., entitled “Aforizma dhe Citate” (“Aphorisms and Quotes”), selected and translated by famous German, Austrian, and Swiss authors, was held.

On that occasion, the Rector of MTU, Lecturer Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., emphasized the importance of enriching the literary and philosophical fund of the Albanian language and the role of books in encouraging critical thinking among students and researchers.

The dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Lecturer Mustafa Ibrahimi, Ph.D., encouraged the author’s contribution as a model of academic and intercultural engagement, while Lecturer Izer Maksuti, Ph.D., added that the work represents a successful bridging among linguistics, philosophy, and European culture.

In his speech, the author, Lecturer Naim Kryeziu, Ph.D., a lecturer at the University of Prishtina, shared his experience and the motives that led him to select wise thoughts from German literature, translating them into Albanian with precision and linguistic sensitivity.

During the book launch, attendees had the opportunity to discuss the importance of aphorisms and quotations in education, translation, and cultural mediation. The book is the result of several years of work and offers a wealth of expressions with lasting philosophical and educational values.
