Skopje, June 2022 – Students and staff members of “Mother Teresa’’ University in Skopje, participated in the Certified Training Program (CTP) from 1 June till 3 June, which is significant in order to lay the foundation of WYA (World Youth Alliance) in North Macedonia.
The training that took place at the MTU premises, were conducted by the regional operational director Ina Delic and the director of the Southeast Europe office Ermelinda Gjeci. This certified training enables students to be part of the World Youth Alliance, therefore they can have internship opportunities in regional or central offices around the world, employment opportunities, opportunities for student exchanges and opportunities to join different projects.
Pro-Rector for Education and Student Affairs, Fati Iseni Ph.D., welcomed this initiative and emphasized the importance of WYA which enables students to be more active in the nongovernmental sector and MTU will always support its activities.
The World Youth Alliance is an international nongovernmental organization founded in the United Nations in 1999, working mainly with young people aged 14-29, and has three main goals: Advocacy, Education and Culture.
