MTU started the academic year 2022/2023 with e solemn ceremony

03.10.2022 – After two years of online learning, today ‘Mother Teresa’ University in Skopje welcomed 700 new students with a solemn ceremony and they will join 3000 current students who study in 5 faculties of MTU.

Rector Izet Zeqiri Ph,D., welcomed the new students and wishes them success for the next four years of studies.

‘Today you start a new chapter in your life, and we are always here to help you. The “Mother Teresa” University in Skopje is the only public university in the Albanian language in the capital city, while the study programs that our University offers will enable you to have good job opportunities after graduation, therefore you need to organize your time as much as possible, in order to gain as much knowledge and practice as possible’, said Rector Zeqiri.

‘Our staff is dedicated to support our students at every stage of their educational journey. We have provided an inspiring, quiet, stimulating and intellectually challenging environment for our students. We try to fulfill all the students’ needs to learn through cooperation and joint commitment to bring out the best in each of them,’ added Zeqiri.

Rector Zeqiri emphasized the importance of today’s students for the development of society in the future, where they will be in a great competition with the EU nations.

During the beginning of the new academic year, the students were introduced to their lecturers, also they received their student record booklet during the solemn ceremony.

“Mother Teresa” University in Skopje operates in two buildings and it has over 3500 enrolled students. This University has five faculties: Faculty of Informatics, Faculty of Technical Sciences, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Faculty of Technological Sciences and Faculty of Social Sciences.

From the next academic year, MTU will have three new faculties: the Faculty of Human Sciences, the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Law, also the teaching process will take place in the new building of MTU.
