The Faculty of Technical Sciences students enrolled in the Work and Environmental Protection Engineering study program had the opportunity to hear a lecture by Mr. Ylber Mirta, an expert in the field of water from the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning.

Mr. Mirta delivered a lecture on the general characteristics of the waters in the Republic of North Macedonia, and the goals, challenges, and plans of the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning.

The students were introduced to the legal framework of the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning, in particular, the protection and management of the waters in the Republic of North Macedonia. Furthermore, a constructive debate took place during the lecture led by lecturer Urime Demiri Shaipi, DDS MScPH PhD.
