Skopje, January 2024 – The rector of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Lecturer Izet Zeqiri, Ph.D., had a working meeting with the head of the Audit of the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA), Mr. Adem Curri.
Rector Zeqiri, accompanied by the Vice-Rector, Assoc. Prof. Bujamin Bela, Ph.D., and the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Assoc. Prof. Argëtim Saliu, Ph.D., informed Mr. Curri about the progress of the consolidation of MTU, both academically and administratively, about the number of students, as well as about the needs of MTU for further promotion and development of higher education among IPA funds.
Both parties agreed that, among their priorities, will be the deepening of cooperation between the two institutions. Rector Zeqiri thanked Mr. Curri for his support, ensuring correctness and quality in the future between the working groups of MTU and those of AAIPA.
The audit body is an independent external auditor responsible for auditing and providing opinions on the proper functioning of the management, control, and supervision systems of the EU aid before joining RNM, as well as on the completeness, accuracy, and truthfulness of the annual financial reports or statements, and the legality and regularity of basic transactions to protect the interests of the Community.
