Italy, November 2024 – The Dean of the Faculty of Humanities at Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Lecturer Mustafa Ibrahimi, Ph.D., participated at the annual Celebration of the Albanian Flag 2024, an event that took place in Piana degli Albanesi, Sicily, Italy.

Within this cultural and national event, Dean Ibrahimi presented his book “Në Kalabri me Arbëreshët” (“In Calabria with the Arbëreshë People”), a publication that sheds light on the historical and cultural ties between the Albanians and the Arbëreshë people in Italy.

During the visit, Lecturer Mustafa Ibrahimi, Ph.D., had a meeting with the mayor of Piana degli Albanesi, Mr. Rosario Peta. Mayor Peta thanked the Dean for his participation in the event and expressed his desire to develop other cultural collaborations between Piana degli Albanesi and Mother Teresa University in Skopje.

Participation in the event emphasizes MTU’s commitment to promote and strengthen international ties in the fields of culture, history, and education, supporting the preservation of the national identity and traditions of the Arbëreshë people.
