Skopje, December 24, 2024 – On this day, Mother Teresa University in Skopje and the Ministry of Social Policy, Demography and Youth signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, aiming to strengthen and support bilateral cooperation between the two institutions.
The memorandum was signed by the Rector of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Lecturer Izet Zeqiri, Ph.D., and the Minister of Social Policy, Demography and Youth, Mr. Fatmir Limani.
At the meeting, Rector Zeqiri, accompanied by the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Lecturer Blerim Saiti, Ph.D., and the Secretary General of MTU, Ms. Mukades Hajdari, informed the Minister, Mr. Fatmir Limani, about the affairs at Mother Teresa University in Skopje and about possible future cooperation, which, today, the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation made tangible.
Minister Limani thanked Rector Zeqiri for his hospitality and expressed his desire to further deepen the cooperation between the two institutions.
The Memorandum aims to promote mutual cooperation via the exchange of scientific, expert, and practical opinions in the field of social policy, demography, and youth. It is guided by the need to improve the quality of education, training of personnel, as well as to meet the common interests of both institutions, respecting the acts regulating the competencies of Mother Teresa University in Skopje and the Ministry of Social Policy, Demography and Youth.
The cooperation aims to be realized through the exchange of scientific and professional experiences and knowledge, providing expert opinions on social policy at all levels, supporting and organizing professional and scientific conferences, seminars, round tables, workshops and summer schools, and implementing other forms of cooperation determined by both institutions.
The Memorandum represents an important step towards the development of institutional cooperation and improving the quality of social, demographic, and youth policies in the country.
