Skopje, February 3, 2026 – The Rector of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., was received for an official working meeting at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Republic of North Macedonia by His Excellency Mr. Rashid bin Saeed Al-Khayareen, Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Republic of North Macedonia.

MTU Rector, Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., accompanied by the Vice-Rectors, Assoc. Prof. Diturije Ismaili, Ph.D., and Assoc. Prof. Bujamin Bela, Ph.D., as well as the Secretary General, Rahim Jashari, Ph.D., had the opportunity to discuss numerous possibilities for cooperation between Mother Teresa University in Skopje and higher education institutions in the State of Qatar.

During the meeting, opportunities for collaboration in research projects in the fields of technology and innovation were discussed, as well as the exchange of best practices for the modernization of the teaching process and university management.

MTU Rector, Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and highly appreciated the role of the State of Qatar in supporting education and development in the region. Similarly, H.E. Mr. Rashid bin Saeed Al-Khayareen reaffirmed the Embassy’s readiness to serve as a bridge connecting MTU with renowned universities in Qatar, with the aim of enhancing academic quality and strengthening bilateral relations.
