Skopje, February 11, 2026 – The first blood donation drive, an initiative marking the beginning of an important tradition of humanity and solidarity within our institution, was successfully completed at the premises of Mother Teresa University in Skopje.
The initiative was carried out in close cooperation with the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia – Municipal Organization Chair. Students, as well as academic and administrative staff, responded in large numbers to the call to contribute to saving human lives.
During the blood donation drive, held in Lecture Hall B104, a high level of altruism and social responsibility was demonstrated by the academic and administrative staff and students.
The Rector of MTU, Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., expressed his deep gratitude to all blood donors who, through this noble act, showed that the university is not only a center of knowledge, but also a place where human values are nurtured.
The donated blood is a precious gift of life, and the success of this initiative encourages us to make such activities a permanent part of our institutional agenda.
