Skopje, August 18, 2026 – Mother Teresa University in Skopje and the Institute of Accountants and Certified Accountants of the Republic of North Macedonia (IACA) have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at advancing education, professional qualification, as well as the development of scientific and applied research in the field of accounting.
The memorandum was signed by the Rector of MTU, Lecturer Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., and the President of IACA, Ms. Vesna Prentoska. The official meeting held on this occasion was also attended by MTU Vice-Rectors, Lecturer Fati Iseni, Ph.D., and Lecturer Bujamin Bela, Ph.D., as well as the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Lecturer Bukurie Imeri Jusufi, Ph.D..
The memorandum aims to strengthen institutional cooperation between the two entities through the exchange of academic and professional experiences, the organization of scientific conferences, roundtable discussions, workshops, and joint training programs.
Particular emphasis within this cooperation is placed on MTU students, especially students of the Faculty of Economics, but not exclusively. They will have the opportunity to undertake practical training, receive guidance from IACA professional mentors, participate in clinical lectures, as well as attend career fairs and take part in research projects of mutual interest.
MTU continues to fulfill its mission of connecting academic preparation with the real needs of the labor market, ensuring high-quality professional development for its students and teaching staff.
