Bar, Montenegro, April 2026 – As part of expanding regional academic cooperation, the Faculty of Social Sciences at Mother Teresa University in Skopje and the University of Montenegro Faculty for Sport and Physical Education officially signed a memorandum of cooperation.

The agreement was signed by the deans of the two faculties, Assoc. Prof. Bejtulla Emini, Ph.D., and Full Prof. Jovan Gardašević, Ph.D. The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of the international scientific conference “3rd Annual Scientific Conference of Physical Activity and Sports Tech for Healthy Lifestyles,” under the theme “Sport, Science, and Technology for the Future of the Olympic Movement,” held from April 23 to 26, 2026, in the town of Bar.

During the conference, the University of Montenegro Faculty for Sport and Physical Education Dean, Assoc. Prof. Bejtulla Emini, Ph.D., was accompanied by a MTU delegation, i.e., Full Prof. Blerim Saiti, Ph.D., and Assoc. Prof. Agon Saiti, Ph.D., who contributed to the exchange of experiences and discussions on innovations in sports science.

Thе memorandum is but a strategic step toward strengthening academic and research ties between the two institutions. It envisages the development of joint scientific projects, exchange of academic staff and students, as well as the joint organization of activities and conferences that connect physical education with modern technology in the service of public health.

This new partnership aims to directly contribute to improving the quality of education, fostering scientific research, and promoting an active and healthy lifestyle in our societies.
