Skopje, May 2026 – The academic potential and student energy of Mother Teresa University in Skopje came together at the Third Regional Conference of Accountants and Chartered Accountants. Under the leadership of the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Full Prof. Bukurie Imeri Jusufi, Ph.D., as well as the academic staff, i.e., Assist. Prof. Teuta Jusufi Zenku Ph.D., and Sara Muça, M.A., MTU students took part in high-level discussions on the future of financial reporting in the region.

The conference, held in Skopje, served as a platform for the exchange of experiences among institutions, international organizations, and the business sector. The discussions focused on contemporary challenges in financial reporting and the necessity of digitalization of processes.

During the panels, it was emphasized that the standardization and digital structuring of financial reports enable data automation, deeper analyses, and increased institutional efficiency.
