Skopje, May 26, 2026 – Mother Teresa University, represented by its Rector, Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., and the Public Health Institution Center for Public Health, represented by its Director, Mr. Muamed Demiri, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at advancing the educational and scientific-research process.
At the official signing meeting, MTU Rector Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., was accompanied by the Vice-Rectors of MTU, Assoc. Prof.. Diturije Ismaili, Ph.D., and Assoc. Prof. Bujamin Bela, Ph.D. This strategic partnership is to enable MTU students to undertake practical training within the Center for Public Health, contributing to their professional preparation and increasing their competitiveness in the labor market.
The cooperation is to be implemented through the organization of practical training for students in accordance with the needs of the teaching process, as well as through the realization of joint scientific research in the fields of healthcare and social protection. In addition, the partnership foresees the organization of educational events such as specialized training sessions, workshops, and symposiums, while also enabling the exchange of experiences through the mutual participation of experts in lectures and panel discussions.
During the signing ceremony, the parties committed that the memorandum is to serve as a long-term framework for generating scientific analyses and educating new professionals, while at the same time guaranteeing the full protection of students’ personal data. Through this step, MTU once again confirms its commitment to strongly connecting academic theory with institutional healthcare practices.
