Skopje, July 9, 2026 – Today, the Rector of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., held an official meeting with the General Director of JSC MEPSO Operator of the Electric Transmission System of the Republic of North Macedonia, Burim Latifi, Ph.D.
At the meeting, MTU Rector Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., was accompanied by the Vice-Rectors, Full Prof. Sani Demiri, Ph.D., and Full Prof. Bujamin Bela, Ph.D. The leaders of the two institutions discussed opportunities for bilateral cooperation, with particular emphasis on providing professional internships for students from the technical faculties, supporting scientific research projects in the field of energy, and strengthening the connection between higher education and the labor market.
MTU Rector Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., expressed MTU’s full commitment to placing its academic expertise at the service of the development of the energy sector. Meanwhile, the General Director of JSC MEPSO, Burim Latifi, Ph.D., highly praised MTU’s potential and reaffirmed the institution’s readiness to support the professional development of Macedonia’s young specialists in fields where skilled professionals are in short supply.
