Croatia, 23.09.2026 – The delegation of the “Mother Teresa” University in Skopje, comprising Rector Prof. Dr. Bekim Fetaji, Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Fati Iseni, Prof. Dr. Zoran Trifunov, and Prof. Dr. Vladimir Kitanovski, is participating within the framework of the HEI2MARKET project at the 24th IEEE International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics (SISY 2026), held from September 23 to 25 in Pula, Croatia.

During the conference, the delegation is also presenting NET-SENTINEL, an innovation developed by Prof. Dr. Bekim Fetaji. The application for this innovation has been published and approved as a patent in India, and it has been accepted across all G8 developed nations worldwide, including the United States, the United Kingdom, and various other countries. NET-SENTINEL is a Google Chrome browser extension developed in accordance with the Manifest V3 standard. It utilizes machine learning to analyze network activity, recognize common usage patterns, and identify unusual behavior or suspicious connections in real time.

The solution combines an adaptive statistical detector with the Isolation Forest model, provides explained warnings, adjusts the detection threshold according to the user, and stores data locally on the device. During the conference, UNT representatives held discussions with Óbuda University in Budapest, Hungary, and University North in Varaždin, Croatia. The talks focused on the possibility of UNT joining them as a partner and taking over the organization of the next edition of the conference in collaboration with these universities.
