Mother Teresa University is currently accepting applications for Visiting Fellows for the academic year 2018-19. The aim of the Visiting Fellowships is to encourage future researchers by placing them at a university setting with mentoring and teaching opportunities. The University provides research facilities, including working space and full participation in the activities of the University for up to one semester. The University does not provide financial compensation or assistance; however, it will support the fellows in their application to other funding institutions. In addition, the visiting Fellows have the opportunity to organize an event, lecture, or workshop for which they will have an allocated budget.
During their fellowship at the University, visiting fellows are expected to conduct research, discuss their research informally with the academic staff of our university and they also have the opportunity to contribute to South East European Journal of Sustainable Development – SEEJSD, published by MTU. Visiting fellows are also encouraged to contribute to seminars, classes and other activities of the University.
Mother Teresa University has five faculties, including: Architecture and Civil Engineering, Information Technologies (IT), Technical Sciences, Social Sciences and Technological Sciences. The visiting fellows may apply to any of these fields, indicating their preferred focus. For the year 2018/2019 the university is particularly focused in the areas of Social policy and Welfare, Migration and Mobility, European and Eurasian studies, IT, Applied Economics and Entrepreneurship, Architecture and Design, Industrial Engineering and Environmental Protection Engineering. Applications in any of these fields are strongly encouraged.
All interested applicants should submit a CV, a one-page research plan and two letters of recommendation either in Albanian or English to amantin.qamili@unt.edu.mk by March 31st for applications for the Summer 2018 semester and 15 July for the Winter 2018/9 semester. We welcome applications from advanced doctoral students and post-doctoral researchers. Applicants from a variety of disciplines which are taught and researched at our University will be considered.
