Skopje, 11 November 2021- At “Mother Teresa” University was promoted the Private Sector Youth Initiative project, which is implemented by the NGO “My Career”. This project lasts 18 months and is supported by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Taiwan Representative Office in Italy in order to promote the inclusion of young people in the labor market.

The Rector of “Mother Teresa” University, Aziz Pollozhani Ph. D, in his welcome speech congratulated the participants for such an activity organized in MTU and hopes that such meetings would be more frequent among business staff, professors and students, in order to create a closer engagement of the private sector and academic institution.

This project aims to encourage the parties that will cooperate with the project staff to improve the dialogue between employers and educational institutions; to contribute to increasing the private sector participants and enable all young people to gain professional skills; to create employment opportunities and to reduce unemployment; and to implement a more innovative approach to the job “matching” system for jobseekers and companies.

The presentation of the project was made by the leader, Visar Ademi, who spoke about the goals, objectives and activities that are expected to be realized.

The event was attended by representatives of universities and the private sector.
