Skopje, December 2022 – Students who study Public Administration and Human Resources Management as well as Political Studies in the Faculty of Social Sciences at “Mother Teresa” University in Skopje, had a study visit to the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia. The students were led by their lecturer Mr.sc. Ariton Rama and they were welcomed by the President of the Assembly, Mr. Talat Xhaferi.
In this study visit, the students had the opportunity to discuss with the President of the Assembly about parliamentarism and the approach of young people in politics. The students were informed about how the processes are conducted in various commissions and the voting process in the main hall of the parliamentary sessions.
During the visit to the Assembly, the students visited all the halls where the parliamentary sessions and their commissions are held, starting from the “Crystal Hall” which is used for protocol activities such as conferences and solemn events, and in the end, they visited the “Ohrid Hall” used only by the President of Assembly.
Students had the opportunity to ask questions to the President of the Assembly, as well as to the administrative staff who manage and coordinate the work.
