Skopje, 25 January 2023 – Rector of “Mother Teresa” University in Skopje Izet Zeqiri Ph.D., had a working meeting with the representatives of the “Youth against violence” platform based in Skopje, Ms. Elena M. Mihailovksa, Sara Çuçulj dhe Valerija Sokolova – Stojanovska.

Rector Zeqiri informed the representatives of the platform about the progress of “Mother Teresa” University in Skopje, with special emphasis on the development of study programs in the Faculty of Social Sciences and beyond.

The “Youth Against Violence” platform aims at the civic education of young people, designed to draft anti-narratives and alternative narratives to prevent radicalization that leads to violent extremism.

Also, this platform promotes the inter-ethnic cooperation of young people in the multicultural cities, such as Skopje, Kumanovo and Struga.

Moreover, they discussed about the cooperation between these two institutions that aim to educate young academics, as well as the inclusion of MTU students in such platforms in order to raise awareness of our society as much as possible.
