Skopje, 25.10.2023 – Students of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences at the “Mother Teresa” University in Skopje participated in the exhibition organized by the delegation of the European Union and the Macedonian Institute for Media, on the theme: “The glass room: The digital world – a trap for your personal data”. The students were led by their lecturers, the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Law Kaltrina Zekolli Shaqiri, Ph.D., Aleksandar Petkovski, Ph.D., and Denis Memeti.
This exhibition consists of video animations and illustrated posters, designed and produced by Tactical Tech, an international NGO based in Berlin, that illustrates the types of data we leave behind as we use the Internet every day.
Students at the exhibition had the opportunity to find out why our phone numbers are not ours, how much ‘free’ apps cost, how we are profiled, what they can learn about us through our daily usage habits and how the data industry works.
The students of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences at the “Mother Teresa” University in Skopje had the opportunity to talk and take a picture with the Ambassador of the European Union to the Republic of North Macedonia, Mr. David Geer.
