Regional Educational Training Center for Electric and Hybrid Vehicles Soon in MTU Campus
MTU SIGNED MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION WITH 𝐄𝐕 𝐇𝐔𝐁 𝐀𝐒 NORWEGIAN COMPANY FOR PRODUCTION OF ELECTRIC AND HYBRID VEHICLES
Skopje, March 14, 2024 – On this date, Mother Teresa University in Skopje signed a memorandum of cooperation with EV HUB AS Norwegian company for the production of electric and hybrid vehicles, which means that the first educational and regional training center for electric and hybrid vehicles is to be created, all according to world and European standards.
The positive effects of the cooperation are to be reflected in the level of technical and technological development of the University and the Faculty of Technical Sciences, in the advancement of students’ knowledge, and in the development of practical knowledge to prepare students for faster inclusion in the labor market. This would lead to an improvement in the capacities and competitiveness of the companies.
Students will have the opportunity to get to know the way of functioning of the company, which is the world leader in the repair of high-voltage parts of electric and hybrid vehicles, and they will have the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge, as well, and, thus, ensure their future with employment in the company, while the university’s advantages consist in the fact that, in addition to professional knowledge, it will be able to offer students practical work experience as part of the teaching, which, as already stated, would increase the possibility of their employment.
Under this memorandum, a regional training center for electric and hybrid vehicles is to be opened within the MTU campus.
Prior to signing the memorandum, EV HUB AS representatives made a general presentation of the company. The memorandum of cooperation between MTU and EV HUB AS Norwegian company was signed by the Rector of MTU, Lecturer Izet Zeqiri, Ph.D., and the representative of the company, Mr. Zoran Temelkovski.
