MTU BECAME MEMBER OF FRANCOPHONE UNIVERSITIES NETWORK
Madrid, May 22, 2024 – The rector of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Lecturer Izet Zeqiri, Ph.D., accompanied by the Vice-Rector for Finance, Investments, and Development, Ass. Prof. Bujamin Bela, Ph.D., participated in a meeting of the General Assembly of the Consortium of Euro-Mediterranean Network Universities – Téthys, this year held in Madrid, with the presence of 75+ universities from 19 countries in the world, including countries from all over Europe, like Spain, France, Italy, Greece, etc.
The purpose of the meeting of the Consortium of Euro-Mediterranean Network Universities in Madrid, which took place from May 22–25, was to intensify international cooperation between higher education institutions in research projects, mobility of staff and students, as well as on topics related to the transfer of practices necessary for quality education.
The General Assembly of the Consortium of Euro-Mediterranean Network Universities consists of all higher education, research, and other institutions and organizations that have applied for partnership with it and have been approved by the Board of Directors; currently, there are 137 members from 34 countries of the Euro-Mediterranean Region, from the EU, non-EU, the Middle East, and North Africa.
