Skopje, June 2025 – The Rector of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Lecturer Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., welcomed the Director of the City of Skopje Public Enterprise Parks and Greenery, Mr. Jeton Buçi, to a working meeting.

At the meeting, particular opportunities for inter-institutional cooperation were discussed, with a special emphasis on joint projects for urban greening, environmental preservation, and engaging students in practical and research activities in the field of ecology and urban planning.

The Rector, Lecturer Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., emphasized the importance of cooperation with public enterprises in order to bring added value to the educational process and create opportunities for active student involvement.

The Director of the City of Skopje Public Enterprise Parks and Greenery, Mr. Jeton Buçi, expressed the readiness of the City of Skopje Public Enterprise Parks and Greenery to support joint initiatives with MTU, emphasizing the importance of involving the young in initiatives for sustainable urban development and nature conservation.

After the meeting, the Public Enterprise Parks and Greenery workers, in cooperation with MTU’s technical staff, continued with practical work on the MTU’s campus green areas, including pruning the scrubby vegetation, planting seasonal flowers, and improving the infrastructure of the public space, thus directly contributing to creating a cleaner and more pleasant environment for MTU students and academic staff.
